Every year, FC Urartu Academy hosts young football players. We talked about the structure and conditions of the Academy with its main manager, Arthur Nazaretyan.

 

About admission to the Academy

– Admission to the Urartu Football Academy is held for those who was born from 2005 to 2014 inclusive. Our reception is always open, regardless of the gender of the child. The club with children hosts individual lessons, reviews of tactical schemes of games, coaches conduct seminars. Also, individual coaches are individually involved with goalkeepers.

 

 

About the female team of the Academy

 

– We have a women's team, which includes those born from 2001 to 2007. At the moment, they are participating in the women's championship of Armenia in group B, organized by the Football Federation. And they also participate in the women's Cup of Armenia. We plan to create new women's teams of every age. Since today there are very few who wish, at the moment we have only one team. But we are working to increase the number of such teams.

 

About women's football

 

– There are few who want to play in the women's team, because the Armenian mentality is, first of all, the obstacle, since we raise our children in a slightly different way: the girl should be more feminine. As everyone knows, women's teams in clubs in the near future will be mandatory. That is, the development of women's football in Armenia will reach the club level. Not only will we work on this and create competition within our team, but competition will also be between different clubs.

 

About nutrition

 

Of course, we consult with our doctor. And since our children eat at home, trainers always provide parents with the right diet, and also ask the parents themselves to strictly monitor this.

 

About club infrastructure and future plans

 

Football club “Urartu” has created all the conditions for children to start from the first steps and reach the level of a professional football player. Our infrastructure allows children to receive a full-fledged football education. Each parent and every child who reaches the age of 13-14 years old, already decides how his football career will develop further. To say that we don’t have such conditions would be untrue, since our club has probably the best infrastructure, and does everything for children, both individually and in training. This is all so that the children feel like full parts of the club.

Our work leads to the fact that, first of all, children are formed as separate good personalities, and only then as athletes.
