17/12/2020

In the current season of VBET Armenian Premier League, Urartu FC striker Jonel Desire scored 6 goals, thus becoming the top scorer. In an interview with us, the Haitian forward summed up the results of first part of the season, talked about the injury, recovery, as well as the aims ahead.

ABOUT INJURY

“In the match with Alashkert FC I was injured, because of it I missed the fixture with Noah FC. But now everything is fine. The last medical examination was a few days ago. The doctor said that the recovery process is going well. Now I'm on vacation and getting ready for the Christmas holidays. In January, when the team returns from vacation, I will join them."

ABOUT THE END OF THE FIRST PART OF THE SEASON

“It sounds strange, but I was glad when I heard that the matches with Ararat FC and Ararat-Armenia FC have been postponed and will take place next year. This means that I will be fully prepared and will be able to help my team to celebrate victories in these matches."

ABOUT THE CURRENT SEASON OF VBET ARMENIAN PREMIER LEAGUE

“The first part of the championship was really very difficult. We worked hard, showed good results, but also made mistakes, as a result of which we did not manage to win in some matches. True, there were alarming circumstances: COVID-19, war ․․․ It was difficult to concentrate on football, but I think that after the New Year holidays everything will fall into place, we will have a good preparatory period and perform better. "

ABOUT PERFORMANCES IN URARTU FC

“My workload here is bigger, but my teammates help me a lot, they have a really good level. Yes, at the moment I'm the top scorer of the championship, but without my teammates, I would hardly scored so many goals. About the club I can say, that everything here is at a high level, they respect me, they always try to help. I feel good here, this is the main reason why I am the first on top scorers' list, but that doesn't mean anything. We must continue to work hard to achieve the goals set for the second half of the season."
