On October 12, the Armenian U-21 team held match of 2023 Under-21 EURO qualifying. This time our youth team hosted North Macedonia. The match ended with the victory of the guests with a score of 1-2.

The only goal of the Armenian national team in the 90th minute of the match was scored by the player of Urartu FC Narek Grigoryan. He, like our other players Narek Aghasaryan, Erik Simonyan and Sergey Mkrtchyan, called-up to the national U-21 team, were in the starting line-up. Sergey Mkrtchyan was substituted in the 52nd minute, and the rest took part in the whole match.

After this match, the Armenian U-21 team is the last in Group H with 3 points. The table is headed by the French national U-2 team.
