25/05/2021The forward of Urartu FC Karen Melkonyan has been invited to the Armenian national team for the first time. The 22-year-old player shared with us his impressions of this:
“I knew about my call-up to the team from a friend, he said that he saw my name on the list of called-up players. I was very happy, it is difficult to describe my feelings. These were inexpressible emotions, I am very pleased to be among such experienced players.
This is a great pride for me, because for every player it is a dream to get into the national team, I am very glad that the work done by me was assessed in this way.
The last game of the championship is ahead, after which we will join the national team, I will try to play even better in this match so that I can also get playing time in the national team.”
