EDGAR GRIGORYAN: "NOTHING STILL LOST, THERE IS THE SECOND LEG MATCH AHEAD"
09/07/2021On 8 July, Urartu FC in Slovenia played their first match of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League against NK Maribor (1-0). After the match, we talked with Urartu FC defender Edgar Grigoryan, who shared his impressions:
“We got a very difficult opponent, but we played well, tried to play our game and we succeeded. In the first half, we had enough chances that we could use, just not enough completions.
In general, the team moved very well, both during counterattacks and during defensive actions. In the end, we unfortunately missed a goal. But nothing is lost yet, there is a 2nd leg home match ahead, which we will play in the presence of our fans, and this is very motivating. I think we can succeed."
