Today we talked with the newcomer “Urartu-2” David Papikyan.

 

- David, how did you go to Urartu?

- We had a training camp with “Armavir”, I realized that I wouldn’t have much game practice there, and the president of our club, Valentin Sergeyevich Klimko, suggested I go to Urartu, and I immediately accepted the offer and moved on.

- You play for Urartu-2. Already adapted to the team?

- Yes, from the very first day everyone accepted me well: coaches, football players, staff. From the first day I felt at home.

- You played two games as part of the team, what can you say about your performances?

- What the coach requires is already clear to me, attacking football is practiced here, I like it, the whole game goes through the passes. In both matches we won - 7: 0 and 9: 0, that’s it.

- This is your first time in Armenia, what did you know about the country before coming here?

“This is my second visit.” The first time I held with Armavir in Armenia last year.

- Already managed to walk around the city, where have you been?

- Yes, once we went for a walk, a very beautiful city, I like it here.

- The team started the season quite successfully, what can you say about this?

- The most difficult games are yet to come. I think tomorrow our opponent is also not easy, and in the 4th round we will play with “Sevan”. I heard that they have a strong team.

- How do you tune in to matches?

- Nothing special, I rest, go to bed, watch TV, I don’t have any special way of mood.

- What goals have you set for yourself in Urartu-2?

- First, win with Urartu-2 in all matches. Well, my main goal is to go to the main team, but so far I like everything in Urartu-2. I want to win every game with her.
