NAREK GRIGORYAN: "IT WAS A GOOD VICTORY"

02/09/2021

Narek Grigoryan, a  player of Urartu FC, entered the field with a captain's armband in the match against the Faroe Islands U-21 team and with his goal kicked off the first victory of our youth team in this round. After the match, the footballer shared his impressions with us:

ABOUT THE GAME

“It turned out to be a very good game. In my opinion, we controlled the ball for 90 minutes and won almost all the fights. At the end of the first half, we were able to score a goal, which gave the team even more confidence. In the second half we defended patiently and in the end managed to score a goal and win."

ABOUT SCORED GOAL

“As I said, the goal I scored instilled a lot of confidence in both the team and me. After the goal, the character of the game changed. The headlights began to play for time and try to slow down the pace of the game. This goal turned out to be very useful, the opponents began to play more openly, and we had good opportunities to develop attacks. In short, it was a very good victory."
