We are happy to announce that Urartu Football Club has a new signing. The club has signed a contract with 20-year-old Nigerian midfielder Ugochukwu Iwu.

Iwu spent the 2018/19 season at Lori FC in Vanadzor, then he moved to Pyunik on loan. For that club, he took part in 15 matches. After the end of the loan period, he returned to Lori, taking part in 7 matches, became the author of 2 goals.

“I am very happy to play in this club. I was very warmly welcomed by both my teammates and the coaching staff. After a few training sessions, I realized that I had moved into a very strong team, capable of realizing the tasks. I have played against Urartu many times and I must say that it has never been easy. I hope that the current team will be more competitive and will achieve great success,” - in an interview with us said Ugochukwu Iwu.
