UGOCHUKWU IWU: "I BELIEVE THAT WE CAN ACHIEVE SUCCESS"
Urartu FC recently signed a contract with 20-year-old Nigerian midfielder Ugochukwu Iwu. The player has been playing in Armenia for 2 years already, he played in the football clubs Lori and Pyunik. After the first days of his stay at Urartu, the Nigerian player shared with us his feelings․
ABOUT FIRST IMPRESSIONS
“I feel good, everything is good. I like the team, I have already done several trainings with the guys, it's very comfortable with them. I know some players, with Jonel Desire and Annan Mensah I played at Lori FC, we understand each other very well. They help me adapt faster."
“I played against Urartu both with Lori and Pyunik. Sometimes we won, sometimes we lost. In these matches, Urartu has always shown itself from a very strong side, but about the current squad I will say that the team is quite strong, so my transfer to Urartu is a big challenge for me."
ABOUT THE POTENTIAL OF THE TEAM
“By the scale of Armenia, Urartu can be considered one of those teams which have very good potential. I played in Lori, played in Pyunik, against many top teams, and, believe me, I have never seen such talented players anywhere, with such a team we must achieve success."
“I am here to help the team win not only the Premier League, but also the Cup, and why not, also help the team achieve success in European competitions. I believe that we are capable of achieving success this season."
