ROBERT ARZUMANYAN: "A DRAW WAS A LOGICAL RESULT FOR THIS MATCH"

03/12/2021

After the draw with Ararat-Armenia FC, Robert Arzumanyan shared his impressions of the game:

ABOUT THE MATCH

“It turned out to be a very good match, real football. The players of both teams did not interfere with each other, both sides played good football. We prepared well, and I think everything that we planned during the training, that is, our way out from under the pressure of Ararat-Armenia FC, did everything right. We did it very well, we could launch attacks both from the center of the field and from the flanks.

In many moments we managed to control the ball in the center with the help of our three supporting midfielders: Narek Aghasaryan, Ugochukwu Iwu and Sergey Mkrtchyan. Ararat-Armenia FC also had chances that could have become goals. At the end of the match we had free spaces, we could complete and score a goal with the help of counterattacks, unfortunately, it didn’t work, but I think a draw was a logical outcome.”

ABOUT THE FUTURE INTERRUPTION AND POTENTIAL CHANGE IN SQUAD

“In each match we fight for 3 points. During transfer windows, there are always changes, however, I am not their supporter in the form in which they are in our championship in Armenia, when 7 players leave, 8 come. This is not to my liking. But, naturally, we will try to become stronger, first of all, to improve our game, to fight in each game for 3 points, and in the future, what will be the location of the teams in the table, will show the end of the championship.”
