On June 20, UEFA Development Tournament, which is being held in Armenia for the fourth time, started at the FFA Technical Centre-Academy. The tournament is attended by 4 teams: the Armenian national U-15 team, the Armenian national U-16 team, the national team of Lebanon U-15 and the national team of Kyrgyzstan U-16.

On the first day of the games, the Armenian U-16 team won the Lebanese U-16 team 4-0. The goals were scored by Gagik Simonyan, Gor Vanoyan, and Samson Hakobyan made a brace.

From the players of Urartu FC, Hayk Ghazaryan, Vahe Shapaghatyan, Gor Vanoyan, David Ghiasyan were in the starting line-up, and in the second half, Arman Ohanyan and Armen Arakelyan entered the pitch.

Armenian U-15 national team started with a defeat. The match with the national team of Kyrgyzstan U-16 ended with a victory of the guests 1-4. The only goal in our youth team was scored by Arame Minasyan.

Urartu FC players Hovhannes Urushanyan, David Harutyunyan, Artur Mkrtchyan were in the starting line-up, Hayk Norikyan came on as a substitute, Gagik Meloyan and Hayk Abgaryan did not get playing time.

We'd like to add that in the second round, the Armenian U-15 national team will face Lebanese U-16 team, and the Armenian U-16 national team will face the Kyrgyzstan national U-16 team. These matches will take place on June 22 at the FFA Technical Centre-Academy.
