ARSEN BEGLARYAN: "I THINK WE ARE IN GOOD CONDITION AND WE CAN KEEP THE TIGHT PACE OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP"

We spoke with Urartu FC goalkeeper Arsen Beglaryan about the last match before the international break, about his condition and the physical state of the team, as well as about the upcoming Cup semi-final.

- We had a rather spectacular, but at the same time offensive match, conceded at the last minute. How would you rate the match against Pyunik FC?

- I will evaluate the quality of the game positively, we play the last matches as we plan in advance. I think we should stick to this line, the only way we can achieve results this season. Today we failed to translate a good quality into a result, but we will try to find a positive and correct mistakes, the most important matches of the Cup are ahead.

- During the match, you saved the team from inevitable goals several times, once we were saved by the post. What can you say about your game?

- In this context, Pyunik FC should be given their due, they attacked well. I don’t think that in the moments where I entered the game, there was something extremely dangerous, where I had to help the team and I helped. Unfortunately there were no special chances at the last minute.

- What can you say about your and team's physical condition? What is the atmosphere like in the dressing room?

- Physically, I think the whole team is in good condition, as an indicator - we carry out a large amount of work in each match. I think I am also in good physical shape, we train very well. In the locker room, all the guys are focused on work, there are no decadent moods. We understand what is ahead of us and what we are striving for.

- Ahead of the international break, maybe just the team needs to take a break before one of the most important matches of the season. How are you preparing for the upcoming cup match?

- Until today, all thoughts were connected with the game against Pyunik FC, and now we will think about the cup semi-final. I think we are in good shape and can handle the tight pace of the championship. In the end, they did not lose for a long time. I think during the international break we will hold a friendly fixture, which is only a plus, because everyone likes to play more than train.
