On May 26, the annual international memorial tournament named after Simon Israelyan, a long-time employee of the club and a hero of the 44-day Artsakh War. The opening ceremony of the "Simon Cup 2022" was attended by the management of the club, relatives of Simon Israelyan, representatives of the teams participating in the tournament and football players, who at the end of the event also laid flowers at Simon's bust.

On the first gaming day, 4 matches took place:

Urartu-07 — Pyunik-07 1-1 (3-4 on pens.)

Armenia M-14 - Dynamo-08 2-1

Urartu-08 - Academy-08 2-1

Armenia M-15 — Dynamo-07 0-1

We'd like to add that both Armenian and Georgian teams are participating in the tournament, or more precisely: the teams of the academy of the Urartu Football Club in 2007 and 2008, the teams Pyunik-07, Academy-08, the Armenian national U-14 and U-15 teams, as well as the teams of the Dinamo Tbilisi Football Club in 2007 and 2008.
