GOALS BY GRIGORYAN AND MIRZOYAN PROVIDED THE VICTORY OF ARMENIAN U-21 TEAM
02/09/2021In the 2nd round of the 8th group of the qualifying round of the European Under-21 Championship, the Armenian U-21 team won over the Faroe Islands U-21 team 2-0.
The players of our team opened the score in the first half, the forward of Urartu FC Narek Grigoryan scored a goal. In the second half, the players of our youth team managed to score the second goal. The player of Urartu FC, temporarily playing in the BKMA, Mikayel Mirzoyan unmistakably converted the penalty.
The starting line-up included players of Urartu FC Narek Grigoryan, Narek Aghasaryan, Sergey Mkrtchyan, and Tigran Ayunts was at bench.
Narek Grigoryan acted as the team captain in this match.
We'd like to add that this is the first victory of the Armenian U-21 team in this round. Rafayel Nazaryan's team has 3 points, and the team will hold ithe next match on September 7, playing against the Ukrainian U-21 team.
