GOALLESS IN YEREVAN DERBY

In the central match of the first round of the Armenian championship, Urartu played a goalless draw at home with Pyunik.

From the first minutes the teams were fighting equally on the field. The game was mainly played in the center. In the 28th minute our team's forward Ivan Ignatyev surprised Buchnev with a pass from the left, but the ball did not hit the net. In the 40th minute, Pyunik made another dangerous attack from the left flank, but the ball missed the goal.

There were no more dangerous moments until the end of the first half.

The second half started the same way as the first.

Both teams continued their dangerous attacks.

In the 86th minute of regular time, the Granatovye received a penalty kick from a rather dangerous position, but were unable to effectively convert it.

And Urartu missed a great opportunity at the end of the game, in the 92nd minute Leon Sabua could have headed the ball, but our striker failed to do so.

Thus, after this game both teams scored one point each.
