We are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our health and safety team, who sit within the Environmental, social and governance department. The ESG team is responsible for developing, planning, influencing and executing the ESG strategy, focused on sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion and operational governance.
You will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with current occupational health & safety legislation and you will proactively provide support to the Health and Safety team by developing, implementing and monitoring health and safety systems across our club.
Collaborate with the wider team - you'll provide administrative support to the Health and Safety team, taking ownership of coordinating the Health and Safety mailbox.
Provide guidance and direction to key colleagues - you will collaborate with safety committees, fire marshalls and first aiders and ensure our club is aware of them.
Act as a trusted advisor - you'll provide much needed guidance and advice in site health and safety meetings and assist with site safety tours and inspections.
Organise critical projects - you will be instrumental in booking venues and arranging materials and resources for health and safety training projects
Analyse and evaluate accidents - you'll carry out detailed investigations and advise of controls to prevent reoccurrence
Champion a safe working environment - you will complete risk and work station assessments for all activities and locations across our club
Partner with wider event stakeholders - you'll liaise with catering, cleaning and maintenance contractors to ensure all club events are in compliance with legislation and policies.
