PAVEL STEPANETS: "ATHLETES SHOULD BE MAXIMALISTS"

15/09/2020

It's less than one week, that Pavel Stepanets is officially a player of Urartu FC, in an interview with us Stepanets spoke about his first days at the club․

ABOUT IMPRESSIONS

“Very pleasant, positive, impressions, because from the first day everyone accepted me very kindly. We can say that even in the first week of my stay here, I felt almost at home. Friendly staff, great coach, good team. I'm very comfortable here. I have been only a few days so far, but I can no longer imagine myself in another club."

ABOUT PERFORMANCE IN THE ARMENIAN PREMIER LEAGUE

“I have experience playing in the Armenian championship, because my last club was Ararat FC. By the way, I won my first match in the Armenian Premier League against Urartu FC, and even then I liked this team for its activity, its aggressiveness. Despite the fact that we won, it was hard enough to play, in the second half we fought as best we could just to achieve the result. As for the level of the championship, I will say that I was pleasantly surprised. All teams are very strong, it will be hard against all of them, we have to tune in and fight ”.

ABOUT PURPOSES

“I think that athletes should be maximalists, in every club both the coach and the players and all the people around them should strive to achieve maximum results, and this is a victory. I don’t know, of course, how it will be, but we must strive for this, and want it very much.
