Brazilian player Laércio Costa, who played for Urartu FC from 2015 to 2017, posted on his Instagram page about Simon Israelyan, a longtime employee of Urartu FC who died during the Second Artsakh War, noting the following:

“Homeage to one of the most generous and polite people I have met. When i arrived at Urartu FC in 2015 he always helped and supported me. Rest in peace, my friend."
