Before the start of the 29th Armenian Premier League Urartu Football Club is holding the last friendly fixture. The opponent was Alashkert Yerevan FC, which took the third place in the last championship.

 

The match started in a rather calm struggle. The main fight took place in the center of the field, the defenders of both teams acted rather cautiously, so the players of both Urartu and Alashkert didn't create such dangerous moments at the gate for each other. No goals were recorded in the first half.

The beginning of the second half turned out to be full of goals. Within three minutes, Oleg Poliakov scored a double, thereby scoring his first goals for the Yerevan team. First, in the 50th minute, the opponents broke the rules in their own penalty area. A penalty was awarded, which Oleg Poliakov unmistakably implemented: 1-0. Just two minutes after the goal was scored, the players of Urartu doubled their lead. As a result of the multi-move combination, Narek Petrosyan sent the ball into the penalty area from the left flank, creating confusion, and Poliakov was the first to understand this situation and score the goal: 2-0.

After 8 minutes, the players of Alashkert FC reduced the score gap. A penalty was awarded. Thiago Galvao approached the point. Although Anatolii Aivazov guessed the direction of the ball, he couldn't reflect the shoot: 2-1. In the 72nd minute, Aleksandr Grigoryan gave the playing time to Jonel Desire. It took the Haiti national team striker just 3 minutes to score his first goal for Urartu. In the last stage of the combined attack, Desire received the ball in the penalty area and hit the opponent's goal: 3-1. The end of the match also took place in a spectacular struggle, but no new goals were recorded.
