In the match against Pyunik FC 18-year-old player of Urartu FC David Papikyan celebrated his debut in the Armenian Premier League. In a conversation with us, Papikyan shared his impressions of his first match in the Premier League.

 

ABOUT MATCH AND DEBUT
“It was a good experience. This was the first time that I played in the Armenian Premier League, and got the opportunity to enter the field from the very beginning. Of course, there was excitement, but after the first 15 minutes I began to play more calmly. True, I did not show my best game, but in any case, I am very pleased with my debut.”

ABOUT TEAMMATES
“I think it’s not enough time to understand teammates and their game, just like me. Trainings is other thing, fixtures completely other. But I’ll try to show with my work that I can play in the Premier League. ”

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE IN ARMENIA
“I can say that the level of the Championship is pretty good. At the moment, all the teams are almost at the same level, and it is difficult to predict how this or that match will end. For me, this Championship is a great opportunity to develop and become a good football player. ”
