WE WILL COOPERATE WITH ARMENIAN STATE INSTITUTE OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORT

10/12/2020

On International Football Day, December 10, Urartu Football Club signed a memorandum with the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. This cooperation implies the studying of students, teachers and coaches, the exchange of experience. The students of the institute will have the opportunity to practice at the Urartu FC, and the coaching staff and employees of Urartu FC will undergo an internship at the university.

The memorandum was signed by the General Director of the Urartu Football Club Hrach Aghabekyan and the rector of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports David Khitaryan.

Two organizations working in the same field should exchange experience. Students who have achieved good academic results will have the opportunity to undergo an internship in our club and will be involved in the work process. Both we and Armenian football need qualified personnel, so this is a very good opportunity both for us and for the students,” - in an interview with us said Hrach Aghabekyan.

From the point of view of signing a memorandum with a football or with a sports club in general, this initiative became the first precedent. Yes, we cooperated with regional administrations and other departments, but we did not work on such a scale. I myself consider the signing of this memorandum to be very important. True, there are cases when memorandums are signed with large departments, and no activity is carried out, but I hope that cooperation with Urartu FC will be effective for both parties, because both we and they have many common approaches and interests," - said the rector of the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports David Khitaryan.

A corner of the Urartu Football Club was opened in the foyer of the building of the department of football, where detailed information about the work and programs carried out by both the club and students is presented.

Urartu FC supports such initiatives, plans to expand the scope of its cooperation with other universities and colleges.
