Armenian national team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan expressed condolences on the death of legendary footballer Arkadi Andriasyan on his Facebook page․

“I was informed with great regret about the death of the legendary Armenian player Arkadi Andriasyan. Arkadi Andriasyan made an invaluable contribution to the development and international recognition of Armenian football; football generations, including my father, have been brought up on his example. I offer my condolences to the family, relatives, friends of Arkadi Andriasyan, the entire football community, I share their grief,” - wrote the team captain.

We'd like to add that on the night of December 22, the state of health of the legendary Armenian player, adviser to the general director of the Urartu FC Arkadi Andriasyan, worsened. The famous specialist was taken to the hospital, but the doctors were unable to save his life.
