In a conversation with us, the legendary striker of Ararat-73 Eduard Markarov shared his memories of ArkadI Andriasyan:

“Arkadi was a player, the likes of which were few both in Armenia and abroad. He was the best in his job, he knew what to do on the field, besides the fact that he was a technically strong player, he had a creative mind, and this was the key to his success, this distinguished Arkadi from others.

I am sure that if it were not for the “iron curtain” of the Soviet Union, Arkadi would have played in leading European clubs,” - Markarov said in an interview with us.
