In the 2nd round of Armenian First League Urartu-2 at home hosted Shirak-2. Both teams lost in the first round, so they had to do everything in this match to get the first points in the season that had begun.

The match started pretty well for the guests. Already on the 7th minute after the corner kick, Shirak-2 players opened the score. Arlen Tsaturyan managed to score. However, after the goal, the players of Urartu-2 didn't give up and before the break were able not only to equalize the score, but also to come out ahead.

On the 27th minute Artur Miskirijyan scored a goal against the opponent as a result of a multi-move combination. At the 40th minute, the players of Urartu-2 from the left flank organized another effective attack. This time Gor Lulukyan scored. With this score the teams went on break.

The second half was also held in a rather uncompromising struggle. On the 55th minute, the team led by Robert Arzumanyan were able to increase the score difference. Erik Piloyan, advancing from the depths, misled several players of Shirak-2 and brought Samvel Hakobyan to a goal position, as a result of which the score became 3-1.

At the end of the fixture, Urartu-2 could have increased their advantage, but no new goals were scored. Urartu-2 - Shirak-2 3-1.

This is the first victory of Urartu-2 under the leadership of Robert Arzumanyan in the championship that has just begun.

In the next round Urartu-2 will play away against Ararat-Armenia-2, this match is scheduled for August 24 at the Technical Center-Academy of FFA, kick-off at 17:00.
