We were informed with regret that the former coach of Urartu FC academy Romik Vardazaryan died at the age of 60. On January 19, Vardazaryan's health condition deteriorated sharply, the cause of death was a heart attack.

During the Soviet years, Vardazaryan played in Kotayk FC and Ararat FC, and in Urartu FC he was coach of the academy, working with young players.
