On January 21, Urartu-2 hold the first friendly match of the year and won Ararat-2 5-1 at home ground. 

On the same day with the main team Urartu-2 hold a control match. The rival was Ararat-2. As you know, many key players of the second team are now in the first squad, so Urartu-2 presented to this match with a new squad. From the very beginning of the match, the players of Urartu-2 took the initiative into their own hands and were able to score goals. Erik Petrosyan scored first, and after 11 minutes - Narek Davtyan. The teams left for the break with a score of 2-0.

In the second half, the squad of Urartu-2 completely changed, but the situation on the pitch remained unchanged. The team continued to show initiative on the field. Using the opponent's mistake in the 53rd minute, Arayik Eloyan scored a goal. The players of Ararat-2 managed to reduce the difference in the score, Edmon Muradyan scored, but after 2 minutes Arayik Eloyan scored again and restored the difference of three goals.
