Today one of the top scorers in the history of Urartu FC Ara Hakobyan celebrates his birthday.

In the entire history of independent Armenia, no one has managed to score more goals in one season than Ara Hakobyan. In 2003, Hakobyan scored 45 goals in 24 matches for Urartu FC (formerly Banants FC), setting a record that has been unbeatable for 18 years.
