Urartu-2 hold another friendly fixture duing the preparation period. The match with West Armenia FC ended with a 3-1 victory of the guests. Sergey Orlov, Charles Mark Ikechukwu, Rafayel Ghazaryan scored for West Armenia FC, and David Papikyan scored for Urartu-2.

February 4 is World Cancer Day. Urartu FC also joined the global campaign against cancer, as a sign of support, the players of Urartu-2 went to the field wearing jerseys with the words "Cancer is not a death sentence".

The match itself was not rich in scoring chances, but there was an uncompromising struggle on the field. In the first half, the guests managed to open the score, in the 38th minute the top-scorer of West Armenia Sergey Orlov scored. In the second half, Charles Mark Ikechukwu scored a goal after an individual cross, and in the 81st minute, Rafayel Ghazaryan scored from a long-range free-kick. The players of Urartu-2 managed to score only one goal. At the last minute of the match David Papikyan scored.
