In the 30th anniversary championship of VBET Armenian Premier League Urartu FC started with two major victories. The team first defeated Noravank FC 3-0, and then beat Sevan FC 4-1.

This is the first time that Urartu FC has scored 7 goals after two rounds. The best result before that was recorded in 2006, when the former Banants FC in the second round of the championship beat Shirak FC 6-0 over, but lost to Ararat FC with a minimum score in the first round.

This is the second time in the history of the Armenian Premier League when Urartu FC  celebrated a victory in the first two rounds of the championship. The team had a better indicator in 2005, when it won the first 4 matches.
