In the third match of the new season of the Armenian First League, Urartu-2 team held away match against Pyunik Academy team and gained the advantage 3-2. Samvel Hakobyan made a brace in our team, Artur Israelyan scored once, and Hayk Hovsepyan and Aleksander Ter-Tovmasyan became goalscorers for the hosts.

In the third round away match, Urartu-2 team led by Aram Bareghamyan celebrated their first victory in the new championship. Pyunik Academy team was a tough opponent. In the first half of the match, the opponents threatened our goal many times, but Urartu-2 goalkeeper Levon Ter-Minasyan played brilliantly in several episodes. The score was opened in the first half. Samvel Hakobyan scored a goal after a long break. Our guys quickly doubled their advantage. Before the break, Samvel Hakobyan sent the second ball into the opponent's goal, making the score 0-2.

The first dangerous scoring chance of the second half was by Pyunik Academy team. After Vaspurak Minasyan's kick, the ball hit the post. Our guys managed to maintain a two-goal advantage until the 64th minute. Hayk Hovsepyan reduced the score difference with a long-range strike. At the end of the match, the players of Urartu-2 scored one more goal. Substitute Artur Israelyan made the score 3-1. But in the stoppage time of the match, Pyunik Academy team again managed to reduce the difference in the score. This time, Aleksander Ter-Tovmasyan, who came on as a substitute, scored a goal.

As a result, Urartu-2 team was able to win, gaining the first 3 points this season.

We'd like to add that the next match Urartu-2 will hold on August 21st. The rival will be Gandzasar, with which our guys will compete at home. The match kicks-off at 19:00.
