During the international break, Urartu FC held a friendly fixture, in away match facing Ararat FC. The match ended with the victory of the guests 3-1, goals were scored by Livio Milts, Karen Melkonyan and Ugochukwu Iwu, and Edgar Malkayan scored for Ararat FC.

During the break for international matches, several players of Urartu FC are at the disposal of their national and different age teams, so other younger players got playing time. Thus, the 14 years old goalkeeper Hayk Ghazaryan was included in the starting line-up.

The first to open the score were the players of Ararat FC, after several passes the goal was scored by Edgar Malakyan. But the players of Urartu FC needed only two minutes to equalize the score: Livio Milts hit the upper right corner of the opponent's goal with a gorgeous long-range shot from outside the penalty area. A few minutes later the home team broke the rules in their own penalty area, after which a penalty was awarded, which was unmistakably implemented by Karen Melkonyan. The teams left for the break with a score of 2-1 in favor of Urartu FC.

The teams started the second half quite actively, both sides were eager to attack. However, the players of Ararat FC again broke the rules in their own penalty area, this time the penalty was unmistakably implemented by Ugochukwu Iwu. At the end of the second half, a penalty was awarded to Urartu FC, but the young goalkeeper Mkhitar Umreyan, who came on as a substitute, played brilliantly in this episode and saved the team from a goal.
