We are happy to announce that Urartu FC has signed a contract with 26-year-old Russian forward Maksim Mayrovich. Footballer first started playing in Armenia in 2019, joining Noah FC, who won the Cup and became the vice-champion of the Armenian Championship the same year. In early 2021, he moved to the Russian FC Akron, and in the autumn of the same year he returned to Noah FC.

In 69 games for Noah FC, he scored 25 goals and made 10 assists. Mayrovich is Noah FC all-time top scorer.

Last season, Maksim Mayrovich again became the leader in scoring statistics in the Noah Football Club, scoring 9 goals and giving 3 assists.

Mayrovich spoke about his transfer to Urartu FC and his impressions:

“Even last year, I had a choice: stay in Russia or move to Urartu FC. I stayed there, which I later regretted, and already this year, having received an offer, I did not think long and agreed. The guys received me well, I have experience working with a coach, so I hope that I will help Urartu FC become a leader, because I think that a team with such an infrastructure should only occupy high positions.”
