On June 6, the Armenian U-21 team held another qualifying round match of the European Under-21 Championship. Our team competed with the youth team of France in Yerevan and lost 4-1. The only goal in our team was scored by Zhirayr Shaghoyan.

The players of Urartu FC also took part in the match: the starting line-up included Sergey Mkrtchyan, Arman Ghazaryan, Petros Manukyan, as well as Erik Simonyan, temporarily playing in BKMA, and Narek Grigoryan, playing for the Polish Jagiellonia. Manukyan, Ghazaryan and Simonyan participated in the whole match, Mkrtchyan was replaced in the 46th minute, Grigoryan - in the 71st.

We'd like to add that the next match the youth team of Armenia will hold on June 12, facing Ukrainian U-21 in Yerevan.
