During the preparation period, Urartu-2 team held its second friendly fixture, facing Pyunik Academy team. The match ended 2-0 in favor of the opposing team.

This match also had two different compositions for two halves. The match was started from the first minutes by more experienced players of our team. A fierce struggle for the ball was visible on the field, the game was mainly unfolding in the center, so it is difficult to say exactly which team had more initiative. The players of both teams tried to organize positional attacks, but they left for the break with the score 0-0.

In the second half, as already mentioned, the composition of our team completely changed, thus the playing time and the chance to prove themselves and their strengths were given to the young players of Urartu Academy. On the 60th minute, as a result of a mistake by our players in their own half of the field, the opponents organized a counterattack, following which the hosts managed to open the match score. After the missed goal, our guys started to act more aggressively, trying to break through the defense of Pyunik Academy team, but the result was exactly the opposite. Opponents acted more competently: once a beautiful long-range shot hit the crossbar of the goal, and once a goal was scored from offside. However, our players did not take advantage of the opponents' misses, and in the 92nd minute, again due to the loss of the ball in their own half of the field, they still conceded the second goal, which was scored by a long-range shot. Pyunik Academy - Urartu-2 2-0.

We'd like to add that the team continues to prepare for the new season, training at its own base. A two-week foreign camp is also planned, the details of which we will inform You later.
