We are happy to announce that the legendary footballer and honored coach of the Armenian SSR Eduard Markarov has been appointed Deputy General Director of Urartu FC for football development.

Eduard Markarov is one of the legendary players of the Ararat-73 team, with which he became the champion and silver medalist of the USSR, and also won the USSR Cup twice.

Since April 2021, he has worked as advisor to the president of Noah Football Club. In the spring of 2022, a corner dedicated to the legendary footballer was opened at Urartu FC Museum.

We congratulate Markarov on his appointment to a new position and wish him productive activities for the benefit of Urartu football club.
