OLEG POLIAKOV PLAYED HIS 100TH MATCH IN ARMENIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

In the match against FC West Armenia, our forward Oleg Poliakov played his 100th match as part of Urartu FC within the framework of the Armenian championships. Poliakov became the first player in the history of the club to reach such a milestone.

Let us add that on August 26 last year, in the match against SC Shirak, Poliakov became the foreign player who played the most matches for Urartu FC, surpassing the record of Ugochukwu Iwu, who took part in 84 matches.

Among the players of the current team, Poliakov is second only to Karen Melkonyan, who played 139 times in the Urartu FC jersey․

Oleg Poliakov has been playing for the fourth season as part of the Urartu FC team, being one of the team’s key players. The Russian footballer made his debut for Urartu FC in 2020. In the opening match of the championship, held on August 23, against FC Pyunik. Together with his teammates, he became the bronze medalist of the championship, and in the previous season he became the champion of Armenia and the winner of the Armenian Cup.
