On June 12, the Armenian U-21 team held last qualifying round match of the European Under-21 Championship. Our team faced the youth team of Ukraine in Yerevan and lost 2-0.

The players of Urartu FC also took part in the match: the starting line-up included Narek Aghasaryan, Arman Ghazaryan, Petros Manukyan, as well as Erik Simonyan, temporarily playing in BKMA, and Narek Grigoryan, playing for the Polish Jagiellonia. Ghazaryan and Simonyan took part in the whole match, Manukyan and Grigoryan were replaced in the 77th minute, and Mkrtchyan entered the field in the 46th instead of Aghasaryan.
