During the winter transfer window, Urartu FC signed 27-year-old forward Dmytro Khlyobas. In a conversation with Urartu media, the Ukrainian footballer shared his thoughts:

ABOUT FIRST IMPRESSIONS

“I have very good impressions, I am very glad to join Urartu FC. To be honest, I didn’t hear much about the Armenian championship and the teams, but when I came here, I was pleasantly surprised: it’s a very beautiful city, friendly people, and football is also very well developed here. I like the local approach to football, so I really want to be here.”

“I have something to compare with, I have played in many places, but I can say that Urartu FC has a very good base, it is clear that the club’s management wants to create good conditions for the players. Everything is here for your development as a football player, for recovery, for trainings, the stadium itself is also located at the base of the club. I can say that there are all conditions for work, so I will try to do my best.”

ABOUT THE TEAM AND GOALS

“I was greeted very warmly in the team, received well, although I still didn’t have time to get to know everyone, as I only trained a couple of times, but in the course of trainings I’ll get in good shape and get to know the rest of the guys. The team is in the semi-final of the Armenian Cup, there are good chances to win, this is the main goal for the rest of the season, so we will try to do everything to achieve our goals.”
