From May 26 to May 31, an annual memorarble tournament dedicated to the hero of the 44-day Artsakh war, a long-term employee of Urartu FC, Simon Israelyan, was held at the Urartu Football Club. The tournament called "Simon Cup 2022" was attended by both the Armenian teams Urartu FC, FC Pyunik, FFA Technical Centre-Academy, the teams of Armenia U-14 and U-15, as well as the teams of the Georgian Dinamo Tbilisi Football Club.

During 4 game days, the winners in the age group under 14 years old were the players of the Armenian U-14 team, and in the group under 15 years old, the players of Dinamo Tbilisi-07 team.

On the final day of the competition, the awards ceremony took place, at which the winners of all nominations received their awards, and the winning teams raised their cups.
