URARTU FOOTBALL CLUB IS 32 YEARS OLD!

20/01/2024

On January 20, 1992, the Urartu Football Club (formerly Banants FC) was founded. The founder was Sargis Israelyan.

During its existence, the club became one of the biggest and most significant in the history of Armenian football.

Over 1,200 young football players and women football players study at the club’s academy, and it is rightfully considered the forge of Armenian football, educating and annually providing players to Armenian national teams of different ages.

Over 32 years, Urartu FC became the champion of Armenia twice and won the Armenian Cup four times.

We will continue to work for the benefit of Armenian football, increasing our contribution to the education of future generations. We hope that the coming years will be even more successful for our club, and that trophies will follow!
