UGOCHUKWU IWU IS THE BEST PLAYER OF THE FIRST ROUND
05/11/2021Fans of Urartu FC and football lovers voted for the best player of the first round of Vbet Armenian Premier League of the season 2021/22 following the results of a vote held on the telegram channel of the Urartu FC.
Ugochukwu Iwu received the most votes: 46% of the participants voted for him, Oleg Polyakov took the second place (33%), and Narek Grigoryan closed the top three (14%).
After receiving the award, Ugochukwu Iwu in a conversation with us shared his impressions and spoke about the team's performances in the current season․
“I am very pleased with this award. It's nice when the fans appreciate your work. On the one hand, this is more obligatory, on the other, it is motivation to work better. In the future, I will try to do everything to justify everyone's confidence. Let them expect more from me and the whole team."
We'd like to add that in the current season of the Armenian Vbet Premier League, Iwu took part in 11 matches and scored 2 goals.
