ERIK SIMONYAN: "I AM VERY HAPPY FOR MY CALL-UP"
17/03/2021Before the start of the qualification round of FIFA World Cup 2022, the head coach of the Armenian national team Joaquin Caparros included the 17-year-old defender Urartu FC Erik Simonyan in the list. In a conversation with us, the defender shared his first impressions:
“Playing for the national team is my dream. I am very glad that I will have the opportunity to train and play with players of such a high level.
The invitation to the national team was unexpected, one of my friends called me, who had already seen the published list of call-ups, and congratulated me. I am very happy, I will try to fulfill the expectations."
